Christopher practices corporate and securities law with a primary focus on capital markets transactions and business law matters, including equity and debt financings, initial public offerings and mergers and acquisitions. Christopher also provides ongoing advice to public and private companies regarding corporate governance, continuous disclosure obligations, and various other corporate and securities law compliance matters.
Prior to joining DuMoulin Black, Christopher completed his articles at a prominent regional law firm in Vancouver, where he focused primarily on corporate and securities law issues for tech start-ups, cannabis businesses and resource and mineral exploration issuers. While completing his studies at the University of Victoria, Christopher interned at the British Columbia Securities Commission, and also completed an exchange semester at the National University of Singapore where he studied (among other subjects) Advanced Corporate Transactions, International Investment Law, and Chinese Corporate and Securities Law.
Outside of work, Christopher is a competitive powerlifter, coach and mentor as part of the British Columbia Powerlifting Association. Christopher is also a member of the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers.
