Joseph van Sickle, Student
Joseph joins DuMoulin Black as an Articled Student after completing his J.D. at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia. Capital markets and corporate financing became an area of particular interest for Joseph during law school; in his final year he had the unique opportunity to volunteer for a digital finance think-tank, where he drafted legal memoranda on the topic of digital currencies. Joseph is excited to apply what he has learned at law school to assist clients.
Prior to his legal studies, Joseph received a degree in Life Sciences at Queen’s University and provided play-by-play commentary for the university’s volleyball and basketball games. Sports are one of Joseph’s main interests outside of the office, and he can often be found playing hockey, soccer, or spikeball with friends.
