Lucy Schilling* practices corporate and securities law with a focus on corporate finance, mergers & acquisitions and initial & continued listing requirements on the major Canadian stock exchanges. Since joining DuMoulin Black LLP in 2004, Lucy has represented numerous reporting issuers in the negotiation, structuring and completion of a wide variety of transactions including initial and secondary public offerings, private placement financings, plans of arrangement, amalgamations, spinout transactions, stock exchange listings, take-over bids, reverse take-overs and merger transactions. She regularly advises corporate clients on general corporate and commercial matters, securities and stock exchange requirements as well as continuous disclosure, corporate governance and various securities and stock exchange related issues.
Lucy has lectured for the Continuing Legal Education Society of British Columbia on matters relating to initial public offerings and plans of arrangement.
Lucy was educated at the University of British Columbia where she received her B.A. in 2000 and her LL.B. in 2003. She was admitted to the Bar in British Columbia in 2004.
