Michael practices corporate and securities law with a primary focus on capital market transactions and corporate finance, including equity and debt financings, going-public transactions, and mergers and acquisitions.
Michael also provides ongoing advice to public and private companies regarding corporate governance, continuous disclosure obligations, and various other corporate and securities law compliance matters. He assists clients across a wide range of industries, including mining, technology, life sciences, energy and financial services.
Outside of work, Michael enjoys running, cycling and hiking. He also plays several instruments, including piano and guitar.
Prior to joining DuMoulin Black, Michael practiced at the Vancouver office of a global law firm.
